Los afectos de la memoria. Familia, Memoria y Nación en la novela contemporánea boliviana

El presente trabajo propone un análisis de la novela Los afectos (2015) de Rodrigo Hasbún que permita un acercamiento a las nuevas formas de significación de lo real en la novela boliviana contemporánea. Con base a una hipótesis que identifica en las estrategias narrativas la propuesta de ficcionalización de la memoria familiar, se busca rastrear, en esta propuesta formal, nuevas vías de relacionamiento entre lo estético y lo político. Si bien la novela de Hasbún llama la atención por su estructura polifónica y por la pluralidad de situaciones de enunciación desde las que se posicionan los distintos narradores, esta propuesta se ve limitada por los mecanismos que a nivel formal imponen formas de control sobre la memoria ficcionalizada, cerrando toda posibilidad desestabilizadora que tensione las relaciones entre historia, memoria y narración. La novela, sin embargo, deja abierta la posibilidad de pensar desde lo afectivo otras maneras más democráticas de construir memorias compartidas.
